Dr Bohaira El Geyoushi is the Head of the Department and Fertility Clinical Lead at Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Fertility Centre, Dubai. She is a Consultant Gynecologist & Reproductive Endocrinology (IVF) in Dubai for the past ten years. Prior to that, she was a consultant and Head of the Fertility Department at East Kent University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, the second largest in the UK. Dr Bohaira is a Fellow of the (RCOG) Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists and a Fellow of the (FSRH) Faculty of Sexual & Reproductive Healthcare in London/UK. She was awarded a Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Southampton on “Studies in Women’s Reproductive Healthcare”. This generated research publications and she is widely published with many peer-reviewed publications. Dr. Bohaira worked in many reputable medical centres in Dubai, UK. She was awarded the Adjunct Assistant Professor Position at Feinberg School of Medicine, Northwestern University Chicago, USA. She is quite passionate about her work and believes in a holistic approach to women’s healthcare and fertility management. Dr Bohaira strongly believes in the power of education and knowledge and in empowering women with knowledge about their fertility so they can make informed decisions and choices about their reproductive health.
Dr. Robert Bader, is the IVF Lab Director at Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group (HMG), Dubai. Dr Robert embarked on an educational journey that has spanned over a decade. His academic journey commenced with a profound exploration of human reproduction and infertility, culminating in his first MSc degree, followed soon after with the study of Regenerative Medicine and Stem Cells, earning a second MSc degree. He soon followed this with a PhD in Biological and Medical Sciences. With 13 years of experience in the region in several countries, Dr Robert has an excellent track record for pioneering research and clinical excellence.
Dr. Mohamed Elkhouly is a European board-certified Urologist specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of urologic diseases, prostate ailments, andrology and male infertility, and specialises in advanced minimally invasive treatments for prostate enlargement, including laser vaporization of prostate and microscopic varicocelectomy and laparoscopic surgeries of urology.
Internationally, Dr. Elkhouly obtained his Fellowship of the European Board of Urology (FEBU) in 2006 and that was followed by the Clinical Endourologic fellowship from Heidelberg University in Germany in 2008.
Relocating from the Gulf region, he worked as a Urology Consultant at a specialised Urology & Andrology facility in the Middle East – Elaj Group between 2006 – 2009. Moving on to Zulekha Hospital in Dubai, Dr. Elkhouly was the key Urology Surgeon there until 2014. He was also the Head of Urology Department at the prestigious Saudi German Hospital –Dubai in 2015.
Dr. Elkhouly is a member of several well-reputed and internationally recognised associations; most notable of which are the American Urological Association (AUA), the European Association of Urologic Surgery (EAU), and the Emirati Association of Urology.
Dr. Hussein Kandil, MBBCh, FACS, MBA is urologist specialized in male reproductive and sexual medicine, he currently runs the male reproductive unit at Fakih IVF Fertility Center in Abu Dhabi (UAE) and is the andrology section Coordinator at the Arab School of Urology. He obtained his urology diploma from Balamand University in affiliation with the division of urology at St. George Hospital University Medical Center (Lebanon). His residency included training at the urology divisions of Pontoise Regional Hospital and Lens Teaching Hospital (France). This was followed by a traveling Fellowship in Andrology at the University of Illinois at Chicago (USA), with clinical training in the vast array of male reproductive medical and microsurgical treatments. Further, he earned the Fellowship of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Later, he graduated with Distinction earning a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from the University of Strathclyde, UK.
During his years of practice, he was among the first to perform micro-dissection TESE for patients with non-obstructive azoospermia in Lebanon. Dr. Hussein Kandil authored male infertility books and co-authored several book chapters in the field of male infertility. His areas of expertise includes the microsurgical techniques in andrology including micro-dissection TESE and microsurgical varicocele ligation, in addition to the management of male reproductive endocrine disorders.
Dr. Aboubakr Mohamed Elnashar is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Benha University Hospital in Egypt. With a wealth of expertise in the field, he has also been recognized as the President of the Clinical Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Elnashar’s commitment to advancing the field of reproductive health is underscored by his membership in the Egyptian Board of Fertility Sterility Society and his extensive postgraduate qualifications, including a Master’s degree in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Zagazig University, a Diploma in Cervical Pathology from Barcelona, Spain, and a Doctorate in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Zagazig University.
In addition to his academic roles, Dr. Elnashar has made significant contributions as an editor to prominent medical journals such as the Middle East Fertility Society Journal, Egyptian Fertility Sterility Journal, and Benha Medical Journal. His prolific research career is highlighted by 41 international publications in medical journals like Lancet, Human Reproduction, British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Fertility Sterility, and others.
Dr. Elnashar’s influence extends globally, as he has served as a speaker at international conferences including the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG), European Congress of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and the Society of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders (SUED), where he also held the position of chairperson. His expertise has been sought after worldwide, as he has been an invited speaker in various countries, including India, Russia, Iraq, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Libya, Syria, Jordan, and the UAE.
Dr. Elnashar’s contributions extend to the realm of literature, with co-authorship of several books, including “Gynecology for Medical Students,” “Obstetrics for Medical Students,” and “ABC of Reproductive Endocrinology,” among others. His authorship includes works like “Basic Ultrasonography in Obstetrics and Gynecology,” “Gynecologic Cytology,” “Colposcopy,” and “Manual of In Vitro Fertilization (IVF).” His impact on the field is further underscored by his role as an international reviewer for eight ESHRE guidelines.
